69 big block power steering
Hi guys, newbie here. Here goes, hope someone can help. My 69 SS396 has been running a 68 power steering setup for years and I want to install the correct 69 setup. I have the 3 correct original brackets, the correct pulley, and 3 different (slightly) round type pumps. My assembly manual doesn't give quite enough detailed pics to do the job. I'd liks to see what the right pump and housing look like to see if one of mine is right. Also, on trial fit the cradle mounts right and pulley aligns, but the 2 smaller brackets look all wrong and won't work together right. For starters, the "u" shaped one blocks the pressure fitting on the back of the pump. A pic of a correct setup would be great. Thanks a bunch,
Paul

Thanks and nice pics, but nearly nothing is the same for small block to big block. I have found my pump is right, they are all similar, but its my reservoir housing thats wrong. I have the correct return pipe coming out of the very bottom, but the tilt of my filler neck is off. I need a 69 BB reservoir housing, anybody have one? Thanks,
Paul
