68 quarter window new roller function

Purchased complete new reproduction roller assemblies for our clients '68 Hardtop. Have difficulty maintaining alignment adjustments to door glass. There seems to be excessive play of the rollers as they ride in the track assembly. Before condemning the new roller assemblies and related new hardware, wondering if I am overlooking something? Also interested in knowing if anyone has found a particularly good quality reproduction of the quarter window roller/ hardware. Are some manufactured better than others? Thanks for any help with this situation.

I'm having the same issue on my 68. Purchase track, rollers, everything besides the window and each time i think I it adjust, its not. I dont seem to have rollers issues, just adjustments staying

I've seen round rollers replaced by square rollers on some cars. The square ones fit snug in the channel without lateral play and just slide not roll with white lithium grease.
