Default 68 Door glass lower bumper stop

Does anyone out there know of or have found any replacement rubber stop bumper on the forward lower attach plate on the glass?? The glass attach plates are perfect except the rubber stop bumper. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I doubt you'll find just those, here's a complete installation kit that has them if I'm understanding what you need.
Not cheap unfortunately.

Thanks Y2Keglide. The bumper stops are shown attached to the glass mounting plates. Hard to believe you can't get them separate with all the other small stuff you can buy! Currently working thru National Parts Depot about them. I'll be posting my results when I'm done.

Here's my follow-up om the bumper stops: I went through National Parts Depot and they couldn't help, but they gave me the info to contact Classic Headquarters, their wholesaler. I contacted them and they didn't have them as a separate item, but the guy I spoke with went out back to see if they had any of the assemblies returned that were damaged and when he called me back, he had found 2! So I was able to buy them instead of the whole assemblies. I called NPD back and thanked them and while talking to them, we talked about possibly being able to get just those parts if there's enough demand. And they were going to look into it.

I have been looking for the same part with the same conclusion - the rubber bumpers are only available in the kit. After looking at auto parts stores I finally found a rubber bumper that was close in one of the special hardware boxes labeled 'Rubber Bumpers' at ACE Hardware. The insert tab is smaller than the original part but the bumper is very close. I just glued it in place with E 6000.

JeffB thanks for that heads up. I'm hoping to do another restoration in the future and will keep this bit of info if I need to replace them. Hopefully it will help out a bunch of others!! Thanks again!

Turbo86,
I looked at the Year One link. The bumper shown is listed as a 1970 part and looks like it is bigger in diameter and shorter than what is on my 69. Thanks again for the help. I don't know how you were able to recognize the springs we discussed in the other thread. I have another part that I need help with and will post a picture tomorrow.
