Anyone have pics of how to remove the top panel from the dash of a 68? I googled it and looked through all the posts here and found nothing. I have cut through 6 of the 22 spot welds using a cold chisel and a hammer but it is taking forever. Is there a better way? If you don't know where I can find pics I'm open to advice on how to do it from anyone who has done it or has seen it done.

I'm assuming you are talking about the dash panel. I have to cut mine out here pretty soon myself, my plan of attack was to grind out as much of the weld as I could and hit it with the air chisel, then grind it flat in prep for the new panel.

OK, I got the top of the dash separated from the front. In case anyone wants to know I drilled the spot welds from the top and then used the cold chisel to separate the panels and cut any remaining slivers of weld. I used a 7/16 drill bit. Only took me about half an hour. Not nearly as bad as I thought
