Bought the car about 1 month ago and I'm still trying to get it to work properly. Had one speed shop look at it and they told me that compression was good (9:1), timing, spark plug gaps, wires, and they installed the new MSD distributor and told me to try the jets, squirter, and they borrowed me a 600CFM Holley and a 750 square bore (have a OEM square bore manifold to swap if necessary) to try(didnt yet). Also mechanic said that since I have glass packs there could be and issue with them and to try disconnecting.

Existing problem: engine will make a popping noise and hesitat out of the exhaust when gas peddle in hammered at about 4-5K RPM. Also off the line, even in first, the tires wont light up at all. Based on the amount of rubber on the underside by the rear tires it should be pretty easy with this car. ANY ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

-327 V8 Small block (0.30" boared/flat top pistons)

-Put in #70 jets on primary side to fix popping at 4-5K RPM (NO HELP)

-Power track locker rear end with 4/10 gears
-Vacuum is about 14 at idle
