going to look at this 67 that is supposed to be number matching. It is not the original intake or carb. and the exhaust manifold is gone but has headers. The engine is a 396 375HP. It is of driver quality. Where and what numbers on the block I should look for. Is the vin on the block ? Thanks I'm new to the camaro

 

All the numbers should be in similar places as your bird's were. There might be a partial vin on the block, check the front of the pass side head.

 

I wouldn't pay anywhere near the price for a numbers matching car, for that car. if that simple stuff is missing I can only imagine how much else is missing. he probably just has a bit of an original car and finished watching Barrett Jackson and thinks he is sitting on a goldmine
