When I first bought my 67 RS the guy I bought it from said the headlight doors didn't always open when he turned the lights on. Now they don't open at all unless I do it manually. All I hear now is a clicking sound but the doors don't move. I'm told there are actually three relays but I can only locate one. Any advice on how to troubleshoot my problem. Thanks.

I got my headlight doors to work properly. If anyone is interested here is what I learned. The ignition key has to be on in order for the doors to open and close. The doors close properly even with the relays removed. You can buy the relays from Advance Auto for about $13 each so I bought 3 from them rather than buy the complete panel assy for $90+ from NPD or Ricks.

I saw this thread earlier, but since you normally use the headlights while driving the car (with key on), the key not being on is the last thing that would have crossed my mind! lol

Me too but when you are trouble shooting the system not having the key on could easily send you in the wrong direction. That's why I mentioned it.
