67 Camaro " Oil Leak" Help please
Hello Again, I have a 67 Camaro with a 327 . I have a oil leak that i have tried almost everything to fix. The leak is from the oil pressure fitting back by the dist. The hole is/has a chamfer on the top so when sealing it it never seams to stop or dead end. Any suggestions ....Please help almost done but this leak is driving me crazy..
Thanks Again
This is for a pressure gauge... not warning light...

is it a brass and plastic universal type line or a factory hard line??
if the brass and plastic go to autozone or similar store and buy the 3 new pieces the block side fitting the small beveled brass piece that slides on the line and the cap that tightens it all up and slide the cap on the line then the beveled pice leaving about 1/8th inch of the line stickin out of the brass piece and slide it into the block side fitting and tighten till snug and it should fix the issues for about 6 bucks.

The fitting should NOT bottom in the block. The hole is for a tapered thread, and this might be your issue. If you don't have the straight to taper adapter on the fitting, then you may be trying to get a straight thread tubing fitting to seal in the hole and it never will.
The threads are the same pitch, but you need a tapered thread, so take your fitting out and take it to a auto parts store and get the adapter from straight pitch to tapered. That should get it sealed.
