Does anybody know what this electric pump looking cylinder thing is between the front of the master cylinder and the proportioning valve is?

 

I am guessing a line lock

or to do poser burnouts. Assuming the solenoid still works it is dormant until activated. You would need to wire in a switch with a fuse & relay

I use mine for burnouts at the track as "power braking" to do them without a line lock is murder on the rear brakes and adds stress to the trans
