'67, '68, or '69??????? Looking to restore one.

The 69 Camaro was recently voted the most popular Chevy of all time, plus it was the inspiration behind the new Camaro. Comments like the above are just out of jealousy for not being part of the elite 69 group! Lol

They are all just haters cause they don't have the original Camaro. 68's and 69's are just poor attemps to make changes in the perfect car. Haters are going to hate, nothing we can do about it. Not everyone is wing worthy.

Have you ever seen that evolutionary chart, where it starts out with a monkey dragging it's knuckles, up to where man is standing strong and erect? That's what it's like with the evolution of the 1967-69 Camaro. Oh man....lmao!!!

Please note: a poor sense of humor is not required to own a 67 but when you driving a sports car that has a wing window out of a pickup truck slapped on the side it can help.

I would call an extra 23,000 cars for 69 over the 67 a real significant amount. And to compare it to a Mustang? whoa

I've recently gone through the decision process myself. My uncle is big into old Chevys (more of the 50s), and he votes for the 67 w/ the wing window. I'm partial to the 69 SS, but I think it all comes down to how much restoring you're planning on doing. I, for example, plan on making a pro-street, so most of the differences between the years (drivetrain, suspension, grill, etc) I'll end up replacing anyways, so I'll take any Gen 1.
If you want the ORIGINAL, go 67. Want the one that is considered by most to be the 'sexiest'? 69. Don't care? 68.
