Default 3" Exhaust Clearance?

I have a TH350 currently and the full header-back exhaust pipes and mufflers from Flowmaster for my 68' Camaro.

As most of you are aware, the TH350 crossmember is nearly flat:

I am installing a 200-4R which uses the same crossmember as a TH400. This crossmember drops down a few inches:

I am wondering if there is going to be a clearance issue? Does anyone use a TH400 or 200-4R and have 3" pipes and any issues with clearance?

Summit makes a "Tubular Transmission Crossmember" which is suppose to allow for pipes to be ran straight back without clearance issues. The only problem is they cost $237.95 instead of $69.95:

Do you already have the 3" pipes on there, or planning for them? I'd measure whatever you have now and see how much clearance you have. If they are not 3", then you can allow the difference. So a 2" exhaust will be .5" closer to the crossmember.
The TH400 crossmember does drop more, but it drops between the exhaust, and is not really much closer at the point the exhaust system crosses the crossmember.

I ended up going with the Summit crossmember made by GForce. I'm so glad I did, it gave me the clearance I needed and some. It looks sharp also!
