Can you fit 20 inch wheels on a 68 with stock suspension? Has anyone done it? If so, what was the wheel/tire size and backspacing?

 

pretty sure u cant do it. It will hit the fender wells. too wide for the drive thur!!!!!

 

Could you post a pic of what you have in mind? I am sure they will be too big. IMHO big rims like that have no buisness being on classic's. Just my opinion, it might look good, thats why I want to see a pic.

 

That to me would look like crap. To each to their own. 17" max for me.

 

68 and 69 camaros look sick with 20s!

 

i agree with skar, i would feel sick if i saw a 68 or a 69 with 20" wheels, thats one reason i wont buy the new camaro

It looks ookaaayyy. Doesn't look fast. Classics should look fast. I don't care too much for trailer queens. Just my opinion.

 

OK, It doesn't look good,didn't in the first pic,and not the second. but they do look good with 18's if they keep the classic muscle look like some of the foose & Boyd wheels.

 

torque thrusts would look better (i think thats what there called) in 17" or 18"
