Default 1st gens guys

Ok here is the question. My glove box has a camaro emblem on it. I was told that 67 didnt have this, 68 did. But my father has a 67 also and he has the same emblem, but his have the parts of an RS. Mite be a RS mite not. Doesnt matter. So is it true that 67 did or did not have this emblem?

thanks guys

I cant find anything that distinguish 67 from 68 in relation to the glove box other than the vent, which isnt the glove box. The box itself had to be changed for the A/C unit. The doors should be the same, the 69 is when they changed. There are no referances to the emblems that I can find. Are you asking if the car is a 67/68 or the glove box door?

I cant find anything that says they are different. Nor can I find anything that would describe the emblem or if there even was an emblem. So I am going with Yes its the right box for the car, since there is no difference. And no there shouldnt be an emblem for the 67, I am basing this off pic's of origional interiors from 67's. I am open to correction though. I researched this through the conclusive recognition guide.

What kind of emblem? Do you mean the long pastic piece that has a hole for the key? My '67 had one.

Oh! i know what you're talking about. The word emblem... sorry.
No. I didn't have that. According to Classic Industries catalog (pg. 96) it is for the '68 only.
