1969 X55 value

Another question of real importance is if the engine and trans etc. are numbers matching original parts to the car.
Value when finished would be quite a bit more if it is documented to be a numbers matching car.
I would want to verify that before making an offer.

personally if I got it, it wouldn't be. has a 3-spd manual in it right now, no clue about the engine, if it's rebuild or what. I'm not familiar with any SS cars that ever had a 3-spd manual; and I would wanna put a mild 350 in it with a 4 spd anyway. the current 350 that's in it though, no clue it numbers matching or not.

At any rate having the numbers matching drivetrain either in or with the car affects the value of the car quite a bit, engine/trans/rear axle differential.
It's something to consider from a buyer's or seller's standpoint so even if you plan to swap it all out if it's with the car you want to keep it all.
If it's not there then the car is worth less, something to think about when you make your offer and again if it is there keep it even if you don't use it.
