Default 1969 Rack and Pinion steering conversion

Just got my second 69 camaro 35 years after my first.
The one i just picked up does not have power steering.
I was considering upgrading it to a Flaming River power rack and pinion with a new keyed column.

Was wondering if anyone has one or if anyone has any feedback on potentially better products.

I wish there was a response to this because I'm right there with you Jim. I just bought my 69, 28 years after my last Camaro (68).
My 69 doesn't have PS either and that's one of the upgrades I'm planning for in the future so I'd like to see some feedback on this.

I have not done it yet, mine is a 68. However I have done a ton of research so far here is what I know. Most of the time it is better to get a complete kit that comes with everything, including headers since the stock manifold and regular aftermarket headers do not seem to fit. However you can buy the generic 3 piece steering shaft kit and with some creative setups you can make that work. Also the racks don't come with all the ends your going to need so budget for that too.. I myself am going to stick with a complete kit that is all inclusive and ask questions of the manufacturer before ordering..
