Default 1969 Left Fender Wanted

Almost ready to paint my '69 Z/28. I needa NOS left fender for non-rs 1969 Camaro. I would consider a OEM one but would want to either see it in person or photos of it stripped. (way too much junk out there). I'll post pics soon: Everything major is done, original 302 engine, original tranny, rear, interior, all the little pieces painted/plated as original in boxes and cataloged. Car will be painted apart as original, then assebled in the front (yikes!). Silver/black stripes. Belly is already painted to look original. Any thoughts on it's value when done? Thanks

Good mark has decent aftermarket body parts. Like frost said though, OEM ones are few and far between. Especially ones in good condition.

I found a NOS right, is the left a lot harder to get? It sure seems so. I know of another right. I paid $1000 for it, same price for the second one too.

$1000!! Now I know I'll settle for Goodmark. Unless I find one at an upcoming old car swapmeet.

I have aftermarket fenders on my 69, they fit with very little problems.Just add 2 shims to the firewall connection area and the rest fit perfectly. I wont know about the lines untill the it goes in for paint.
Good luck on your search.

Goodmark is OK quality wise. We had too many problems with edges on their doors and fenders. The gaps would not match very well and body lines were sometimes off up to 1/4". Switched to Dynacorn and have had better luck.

You might want to give this guy a call. http://www.dennyscamaro.com/He has been helping people restore Camaros for a long time. Long before theywhere worth big bucks. At one point he had a barn full of original doors and fenders. If they are selling for a 1K apiece then I am sure he has sold them all. He knows just about everyone in the biz. If there are any around he may know where to send you atlease for this area (Eastern PA). Never know he may have a few put aside.
