Well as usual my simple floor pan replacement has mushroomed into a full blow restoration so here is where I am at. I have a 1968 SS 350/295 with a Muncie M21 4 speed and it’s a Convertible (and yes, it’s a true “SS” as I have the protect-o-plate, engine numbers and date codes)
I finished the floor pans and I am getting ready to reassemble the sub frame to the car when I came across all 4 cocktail shakers for my car on e-bay that I promptly bought for $480 including shipping!
Now my question here is since I only have the “SS” 350/295 with the original camel hump/fuelie heads and NOT the 396/350 do I really need to add on the subframe connectors?
I changed out the intake, carburetor and installed the MSD ignition so I am just guessing that I am only making about 310 HP so is it worth the expense/time?
Thoughts anyone?

What direction r u going with the car, how r u going to drive it? I am building a 69 ss 396 and Im not putting subframe connectors on but I dont plan on driving it like I stole it. Use the money/ time elswhere... my opinion but Im sure others will chime in.
