Default 1968 Complete Frame Front/Rear

New '68 restoration project start and looking for a budget friendly complete front/rear frame with disc brakes and quite honestly overwhelmed with the options available and the prices. I don't intend to race or go overboard with HP. Car is currently a basic (327 with 2 spd powerglide). My intent is to build with modern upgrades to add coil overs and a 4bar linkage in the rear with updates for disc brakes. I've seen a lot of very expensive "kits" that have beefed up frames and extensive upgrades I may not need. Any suggestions on mfg of complete kits that would meet those requirements without spending $10k?

New to this site as well, so any help would be appreciated!

Outside of some of your needs /wants you can build a pretty fun car with some great bolt on from Hotchkiss, global West , or Cpp . CPP offers tons of upgrades your looking for at a reasonable price . I run Hotchkiss tvs with subframe connectors and CPP u/L CAs , I haven't driven the car a ton but it is a huge upgrade over stock suspension and give the car a great stance . I know your looking at a 4 link upgrade but look into some good leafs with good shocks and I think you'd be pleased

Hotchkiss and QA's I've always had good luck with, and as long as the subframe and rear frame rails are solid, that's the way to go without dropping $10g on a complete frame.

Thanks for the advice. I've since looked at some of the Hotchkis. Certainly seems reasonably priced. @Ozzie68, the stance on your camaro photo is what I'm looking for. Is that stock or a 2" drop? I really like that look and with larger tires and disc brakes I assume? Most of the "kits" I've seen for aftermarket frames are dropped, but I don't want the car to be on the ground.

I run the hotchkis 1.5 inch rear drop spring with a 1” drop block and 2” front drop spring as the 3” stuff wasnt avalable back when i bought mine ‘ i also have 1/2 drop solid body bushing from glabal west running 17x 9 275/40/17 on back and 17x7 225/45/17 i plan on bumping front rim up to 17x8 with either a 235 or 245 . I have big disc brake dual piston up front and a s10 single piston disc in back. Car could come down safely another 1/2 or more all around but I dont have any interior pieces in and i figure the car will come down a bit after it is installed and more miles are on thr car.. ***side note*** i went with the koni adjustable on all 4 corners opposed to the tuned bilstein
