Just got the car back to my house. Wanted to see if anyone can pick out anything I need to swap to get it back to original. I checked the motor. Does have the correct vin # matching. I know I need to have the taillight panel painted satin/semi gloss black. I’m unsure of the steering wheel. I know most had the black wheel with the SS horn button. Read somewhere that the wood grain was an option depending on RPO code. I decoded most of the cowl tag but I’m not sure where it says it’s an SS car. Does have 12 bolt rear. I need to change to a white shift ball also.

Reason: Pictures
Not sure if the rear end was swapped out. I haven’t looked for the numbers on it. But the bracket is gone for the radius rod and has a sway bar welded on in the same place.
What a beauty you got there! Things that aren't stock that I can see would be headers, aluminum water pump, rear sway bar, axle tubes are welded to the housing, mufflers, and air filter element. The intake manifold looks different from my 3933163 factory intake. Where the coolant passage meets the passenger cyl. head, there should be a threaded hole with a plug in it. Can you take a photo of the other side of the engine? Is the firing order under the PCV hose? The casting # is under the rear float bowl (hard to see with carb on).
12637 is a deluxe model (very nice). Car is a late production, 3rd week in June. Factory custom bucket seats (OOoooooooooo)

thanks for all the great info. I’ll check out the intake when I get a little time.
If you look at the rivets you will see they are different then what you find for images on the internet. If you take off the windshield valence you should be able to find the Vin number of your car stamped in the metal. This will tell you if the vin number matches your car body. You should be able to decode your car with the Vin Number as well. No matter what you have a nice car.
Yes, the cowl tags are reproduced and you can get any option you want added. You can even buy the supporting document with the proper aged look to them. Any car restored in the last 15 year should be suspect. This is why most high end cars come with a owner history so it can be tracked back. Old photos help also.
Date code from pass axle tube is the only item telling of original to Camaro.
With a PO adding sway bar, bracket removed - might see some grind marks or some of OE weld. Brake lines on axle are not OE as OE's had sharper corners and straighter runs.
Pretty car still and enjoy her.
