1967 quadrajet kickdown on a powerglide

Default 1967 quadrajet kickdown on a powerglide

Guys, need some help in getting this set up correctly. Attached are the pictures If what I got. Any ideas?

Install a ball stud in the bottom hole, then slide the linkage over the stud.
Then have an assistant hold carb to WOT, and adjust the slack out of the linkage as forward motion is pulled on trans linkage.

Not a Quadra Jet but same deal for Kickdown rod attachment for a PG. The stud is a Edelbrock I got from Summit.

FWIW my return spring goes to the bracket the coil is on, not to front of motor like OP's but whatever works

The ball stud shown above isn't going to work, that's for a snap on throttle cable end. You need one like this: 22-73 - Carburetors Unlimited
