how many heater delete 1967 camaros convertibles and hard tops were made and about how many do you think is still around. just bought a 1967 convertible heater delete car

Well I know its rare on a rag top. GM never tracked any combination of options, meaning you can find out how many RS's there are and how many SS's there are but we can only guess how many RS/SS there are. I do not see heater delete under the normal list of options. I assume there is no mention of that option on the Cowl tag? If it does please post the code. It is such a simple option to fake, it will be tuff to prove someone did not buy the parts in the 70's and just deleted it himself.
If it is original ya got to wonder what the the guy that ordered was thinking? Normally heater delete is just for cars that are going to race. A rag top is not a race car, its basically a wet noodle. In fact GM engineers refused to approve a rag top Z28 even though marketing really wanted it. Engineers said the more ridged suspension would twist the body.
