Last time I had to replace a sending unit, original Delco parts were still relatively cheap! Now one is almost a couple hundred bucks for your car.
Places like Dynacorn, Goodmark make or sell them. Rockauto carries one brand for yours, Spectra. That one and OER, I don't know where they're made. Dynacorn or Goodmark either for that matter, but they're a good name for body parts. Make sure you get the right tube size, 5/16 or 3/8, as well as single outlet or double (return line). Here's a couple:

Well, its fixed. I picked up a new sending unit today and installed it. It bench tested at 97 ohms so it reads just a little past full with a full tank of gas. Thanks for all your help and advice on this. Now I am on to the radio. I want to get a radio that has a jack for IPOD hookup and a couple of speakers to mount in the rear/trunk. Any recomendations anybody?

Yes. You pretty much have to drop the tank in order to remove the sending unit. It wasn't that hard at all. I would recommend getting new fuel line (about 4 inches) and new rubber filler neck also. Mine were pretty dried out. Filler neck was cracked on the tank side. I also put in the anti squeek pads...they were missing. Just try to burn up as much fuel as possible first. I had about 5 gallons left in my tank. Not impossible to do but it would have been MUCH easier withless fuel.
