I’m trying to get a sense of what my 2017 2SS convertible is worth. Unfortunately the engine needs major work/replacement. #6 cylinder is shot. The car is in excellent shape minus the engine. Mileage is 91k. It’s hard to gauge what it’s worth with a bad engine.It would be an excellent candidate for a bad *** engine swap or build.

 

I'd say your 2SS is worth at least mid $40's if it's relatively low mileage, still under warranty, and loaded with all the options. The used market seems to be trending higher, but it really depends on your car's individual specs and the local demand.

 

To be honest, with the current market fluctuation, a 2022 2SS can fetch anywhere between 45-53 grand depending on the trim, options, and mileage. I'd say listing your car on CamaroTrader or a reputable private sale group would give you a more accurate estimate of its value.

 

For a 2SS with about 20k miles, I'd say you're looking at around $65-70k. Keep in mind that the market for new '21 and '22 models is pretty steady, so if you're looking to sell, you might not have to lower your price too much to move it.
