Looking to gain some space for my 125 lb. dog. Anyone done a rear seat delete?

If so:

Which one dod you use and how would you rate it?

Did you gain any headroom? How much do you think?

How much louder is it inside the car now?

I went with the rear seat delete on my 2021 SS and I gotta say, it really opens up the room back there. The delete kit was pretty easy to install myself, just be prepared for some extra wire harness work. Now I can haul gear or friends with ease.

 

I wanted more room for my 135 lb dog and the kits I saw were too flimsy so I made one from 1/2" plywood and carpeted it. I installed dynamat before installing and I didn't notice an increase in noise level. I'm
happy with the result.
