I just found out my 2019 Camaro may have been painted twice before it was delivered to the dealership. Has anyone every had this problem or know of anyone?
I found out when a defect showed up on the hood 4 days after I took delivery. After speaking to several people and 2 different body shops the second did a mil thickness measurement. Hood 10.8 mils, roof 12.7 mils, trunk 9.8 mils, and left rear quarter is 16.5 mils thick.
Please let me know. Paint should be 5-7 mils with a 1-1.5 mil variance.
