So I had my car in storage over the winter and after it being in hybrid mode due to low battery I had it hooked up to charger and everything started up ok. When I went under the hood I noticed the valve for filling or burping the system was full of coolant and blew to cap off - first time I ever saw that on this cooling setup and I don't have any access at the moment to lookup the information so I decided to ask the forums. I attached pictures of what it looked like when the after car was running. After i shutoff the car and went to grab a drink from fridge and let dog outside, by the time I came back the coolant inside was gone - I'm guessing it went back in the system. My thing is , is that a normal operation for it to happen? I'm guessing its purging the air in the system? Asking for any insight thank you. I remember after i made sure everything was good under the hood the cap was on prior to the picture. I noticed after i turned car off it looked like this.
