That mean the 2018 ZL1 LE1 is faster then a 911 GT2 RS. That is a limited production car selling near a 1/2 million dollars. Wonder what the top dog 2018 Vet will do. You know they got to beat it.

Anyone note that lack of Mustangs and Challengers on the top 100 list. I wonder if the Demon will make that list LOL.

 

Think about it this way, It out ran a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. That is a 700HP, V12 400k car.

I was watching a Youtube video where the guy was talking about owning a Lamborghini and a Corvette. Some one hit his Vet in a parking lot. It looked pretty bad. In the end it cost him $3500 to replace the lower rocker and some small repairs plus paint. Because of his history with Lamborghini he though it would be a 10-12K repair. He said to put that in perceptive the last 3000 mile service on the Lamborghini was $2900. You can almost own a Zl1 Camaro for what is cost to maintain a Lamborghini.


Fanboy stuff:
GM has made a lot of Marketing/Styling mistakes with the Camaro, engineering has always been ahead of the rest. That stands for all generations. At Bonneville there is a Classic category that is 81 back, stock body, 4 or more seater. The reason it is 81 back is because if it was 82 back the top 20 list would be all 3rd gen Camaros. That is from one of the rule writers.
