Default 2017 Camaro Factory order advice.

In the market for purchasing a new car and the 2017 Camaro is what I want. No one around me has the build add-ons I want causing me to invest in a factory order. This will be my second time dealing with a dealership and my 3rd car purchase, and that being said; my first experience I was sold 2 lemons. Being prior military and a disabled vet I don't have time to be getting hustled, so I'm asking the community for with understanding the process and what is a reasonable ordering price and how does that circulates with financing once the car arrives. Any help would be amazing, as for right now I'm being asked to put down 25% just to order the car.

Sorry for the confusion I'm trying to do a factory order. With my first build I was told to put down $500.00 for the order of the car which costs $48,000.00. Thats not including the 10% sales tax which is another $5,000.00. For my second optional build with everything I wanted. I was told I'll need to put 25%($11,000.00-$13,000.00) down now just for the order. This car created is listed at $56,380.00 (without sales tax). So my question is what advice can anyone give me on factory ordering a camaro and how to deal with the dealership taking my order. I was told never to pay for MSRP, but this is a custome build, so I feel like this my be one of those special cases where the dealer won't accept anything less than MSRP. I really want this car trying to get one before they stop doing orders for the 50th anniversary edition. I'm also a disabled vet if there's any informational benefits/incentives that could help with the purchase of this car would be much appreciated.

sit down with the salesman/woman and go over your order, ask what the MSRP is and then ask what they are willing to sell the car for. Your special ordering a car that isn't built yet, not much in incentives are available. If saving 10-15 percent off MSRP is really important maybe your going to have to settle on a car gathering dust on a lot somewhere. We can't predict what the dealer you chose will do here.

Thanks for the advice and saving 10-15 percent is no issue just was confused how we jumped from $500 for the order to $13,000. I've had bad experiences with dealerships, so they've left a bad impression on me. And I'm not asking you to predict anything there's a reason why I mentioned I was a disabled vet, because when people look at my info some people try to hustle me. I dont know if you know but not every dealership play by the books and all i basically was asking for was advice from experiences. Not for you to go into your Tarot cards to predict my future.
