Default Are 22"s too big for my Camaro?

I have a set of 22x9 Lexani Lx10s and I'm pretty sure they would fit the car, but just cause I can I don't think I should.
How different will the car be? Will it affect braking? Will the ride be way different??

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Doesn't look as bad as I had pictured in my head: Chevrolet - Camaro - American Wheel and Tire Photo Gallery
And yeah, the less rubber between the wheel and road, the harsher the ride.

That looks really good, but I plan on doing maybe a 295 or 305 tire in the back ,would I be able to pull that off??
