2015 SS Questions
Hey guys.
I have just a couple questions I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with.
1) I have a 2015 White commemorative edition with the gray striping. I'm interested in removing the stripes all together, but I am concerned that it will stand out because of the paint that's been exposed versus the paint that has not been. Anyone have experience with that?
2) I bought the car last year with 7,000 miles. The previous owner obviously waxed it, but did so rather messy. It now has baked in wax all over the black plastic trim in the grille, around the license plate, etc.. How in the world can i restore this?
Thanks for any help guys!

You may be able in taking a hair dryer and warm the vinyl sticker to loosen the glue and pull them off. Tedious job, but can be done.
Others may suggest a heat gun, but they get up to 800°F and if handled correctl;y, may burn the paint right off - a real buzzkill.
As far as removing wax on black plastic, WD40 it and wipe off excess.
