Default Upgrades for supercharger?????

I am currently running a 2.9 L whipple supercharger on my 2012 Camaro ss and I’m looking to see if anybody has any suggestions on how to get more power out of it I currently have headers and straight pipe exhaust and everything that came with the supercharger kit I was thinking maybe smaller pulley??? Bigger throttle body? Anybody ever make any upgrades to this kind of set up?? Also will be getting a new custom tune Thanks in advance!!

So you have no tune information on your current setup? To be on the safe side you only have two options. Contact the company that made the add on kit and get information from them or find a tuner and get it tuned. The reason for the tune is to find out what your current limiting factor is. You are assuming that more boost will equal more power. That could be the case but the tuner can tell you if the current system is maxed out or set to lower boost. It can also tell you if you have issues and need larger injectors or more fuel volume.

It is also not uncommon for guys to add a super charger but then set it up to low boost if it has not been tuned for it or if they just did not want the rise of damaging it. You go adding boost and you run out of fuel boom goes the engine. If the cars has too much timing and you add boost boom goes the motor. As the tuner tunes the car he should be able to see what is holding him back. Maybe it could use more boost, maybe something else is not working as it should.

Assuming the kick is the only mod the kit manufacturer should be able to tell you what upgrades are optional and what is risly and what should not be done.
