Hi guys.

i got my Camaro (2011 SS stick) about 6 weeks ago and am thinkin to start putting some mods in it. i'm about to buy K&N cold intake ( Amazon.com: K&N 69-4519TP Polished Performance Intake Kit: Automotive).

but the thing is that i'm planing to supercharge my car once i get the money for it . so my question is: would the cold intake kit affect the supercharger? would it decrees the performance or won't work at all?

thats all for now so please help me!

 

Umm yeah its a waste of money as most supercharger systems come with one

I want to supercharge mine too, but since I also wanted to supercharge my honda and didnt, my eclipse and didnt, I think I have a pattern going. So I just CAI'd all of them. But if you are for real about the supercharger, that is awesome. I just dont have the patience to save for that long, and then by the time I have the money I find something better to spend it on (house, Camaro, etc).

thanks man. am very close to have the money now i just got delayed because i decided to move out from dorms to apartment, and yeah i'm serious about the supercharger because for me i'm not only putting it on for speed alone but also as an achievement to do in my life. so really planing to do it :P beside the car is still new so u can wait for a bit until u stuff it with a Veigra :P:P

 

Ya, one day I'll man up and get it done. I am thinking on the 67 first though. When you get it let us know how it worked out for you.

 

hahaha, supercharging the 67?!nice! love that car . my roommate got 68 SS rs

and sure i bet it will be a blast!

 

Gonna be a waste of money. Superchargers are awesome but a K&N wont touch that supercharger. Good idea and good luck.
