Default Upgrades

I just bought a 2010 camaro v6 automatic 100k on it before anyone says should have bought the v8 I would have but this was a cheaper loan. Anyway looking at upgrading it with either a turbo or supercharger which one is better horsepower and not as hard on the car and not destroy the fuel economy also was thinking about doing an e85 conversion with a tune trying to make it fast as possible without having to constantly fixing it due to pushing it to hard any advice on kits to get how much it's going to cost and anything else that would be good to know about it or the car itself thank you

Both cause higher cylinder pressure but turbos are typically set up to work in the mid to upper RPM range. Superchargers are always spinning and there is no lag time when you hit it.

I'm not really even aware of a supercharger for the V6 but I suppose someone out there makes one.

The last thing is that your engine needs to be in VERY decent shape before you apply either of these performance upgrades. If you get a little detonation, you could easily grenade your motor.

Default Hi

I just bought a 2011 Camaro convertible V6 that already has a cold air inductor wondering if anybody knew if I got this car tuned would it give me more horsepower or is it a waste of my money
