actually it looks like the output shafts on the new maros fail, there have been like 5 cases on the front page alone, not to mention A pillars falling off, mismatched front fascias and spoiler bolts coming lose, along with some small other stuff, i wasn't trying to be a **** but if you want to i can play too.

It sucks that people are having problems with their Camaros that they just ordered, but it seems that most of the problems people are having are minor and usually cosmetic (except for the few that have drivetrain and major cosmetic problems such as defects in the paint) You have to keep in mind though that this is the first year of a completely redesigned Camaro that hasn't been made in 7 years, and while compared to its predecessors and competitors is ground breaking. Also remember that the vast majority of the people reporting small defects are Camaro nuts. They are on an online forum dedicated to what is now a year specific car, it only makes sense that they are going to run through their 5th gen with a fine tooth comb.

that’s nothing new!
every manufacture has problems with the first year on new models.
like the saying " if you want a good car, wait and get the second year run, so your not the Ginny pig."

You'd think they have had enough time to work out all the kinks.

I am trying to decide if this thread should go or not. I guess its ok because its helpfull. I just think it should go in the 5th gen instead of OT, perhaps I will move it in a sec.
