K & N Aircharger Cold Air Intake

Default K & N Aircharger Cold Air Intake

Has anyone placed a K & N Aircharger Cold Air Intake in their new V6 Camaro. I was looking to do it to my "NEW" RS and was wondering if they thought it made an improvement in speed and sound?

Was it difficult to do?

Here is a video of Motorz putting a Pipeline brand intake on a SS, they had quite a bit of gain actually.

5th dan, I get a charge outta "failed devices" screen name,As I went thru it recently. I have no doubt his advice & experience are founded,as are mine.I wish I woulda boght a K&N C.A.I, instead of cheapimg out & getting the Gen5 that I did. The K7N has a clearly visable supporting bracket [ which also deflects Exhaust manifold air,to an extent. I was poor for so many years,i always go for the cheap stuff.Trust me,you pay more in the end. westmassk

So does anyone have any info on actual HP and performance gain for this intake for the V6 5th Gen Camaro?
