About to install new C.A.I. from..
Camaro5 Racing. Great Customer support, & the " G5CR-V61 " component I recieved looks to be of High quality.Has any of you all out there purchased & used this C.A.I. ? The instructions are vague,at best . I am a New 2010 Cam. owner,& didn't even realize that my Battery was in the trunk [ under the Emgcy. spare ] !!! My big question is that the C.A.I. I recieved, appears to be "Un-supported" by any mechanical bracket or device. The Machining of the collar that recieves the MAFS is 1st rate, as is the filter itself. If anyone has purchased & used this C.A.I. & has some pointers, I'd be beholding to you before I install it tomorrow. Thanks, westmask

To Libetryforall1776,Sure wish I would have !!! While the Vendor was very nice, the end product was a huge letdown. The nicely machined [ & heavy ] housing that couples the intake,MAF & large filter weighs quite a bit,yet is Completely un-supported.I had to Manufacture a bracket to support it.The instructions say, " just lay it on the upper radiator hose, " this is normal ' & that's an exact quote !!!! I have a feeling this on-line company is just a middle man, garage set-up for many of the aftermarket companys.I do give credit to their immediate on-line support. But what I recieved,I could [ & should have ] made on a friend's Bridgeport & bought a K&N filter & hose clamp. Ya spend your money & take your chances. From now on, it's going to estableshed companies with proven track records. westmassk
