Default 2010 camaro max HP out of V6

I want to know what is the most HP that everyone has gotten out of the V6? and what have you done to the car to make it that fast?

so far I have an air raid cold air intake and and jet performance MAF. next purchase will be an an exhaust and performance tune.

Did the jet mass air sensor help?

I put an intake and exhaust on just after I put in the MAF so I couldn't tell you if it made too much of a difference. With the other 2 mod ther is a huge difference.

Default STS Turbo

I have the LS manual and have just purchased the k&N CAI and soon putting an SLP Loudmouth exhaust on. The mod i want most and have to wait for is the STS Turbo which boasts massive gains. Only reason I have to wait is the $6000 price tag. Ive been reading and come across several claims of the V6 beating up on the V8s. Has anyone come across a reputable tuner/programmer for the V6s?

Hmmmm only 6k huh.... better start saving my pennies, that's my next must have. I'm doing my program through a GM guy that does all the mods for all chevys. Has his own SS with some where around 700hp. Didn't know there was a k&n cai out for the 6. I could only find the araid when I bought mine. You'll have to post how u like the sound of the loud mouth. I heard it and personally didn't like how loud it was.

So I went to track recently and did horible. I put on the intake and exhaust and wasn't able to do better than stock... WTF...... I'm hoping the 100 degree weather made a difference but the best that I could do was a 15.43. When stock I did a 15.56 in early april. Also how in the world can I do a 15.6 at 93 mph then do a 15.5 at 86 mph... that doesn't sound right to me??

Has that turbo kit come out yet or is that a future production thing?

I think that 100* temp is killing your HP.

But I am interested if any improvement with the MAF?

No!!!!! I just did the same thing, the car does seem faster, I have not brought it to the track.
Thats a lot of wasted money and noise, I put the K&N Intake and Borla exhaust, it definetly sounds faster..bummer!

I was about to give up on this Cam Forum until this thread. You all sound like the aveage types like me [ though my 2010 is untouched ,as i just bought it 2dats ago ].You guys have already tried things,Which is where I'm about to launch.Freer air [ such as K&N ] & a better & freer exhaust. That's where I need help.If I combine better air in & exhaust out, something has to correct the delta, in my mind anyways.I'm an old fart [52 ] but even in the old days,If you increased air in & freed exhaust restictions, that made for a lean motor ,Right? So whay does one do to correct & optimize on the air in,freer exhaust out situation ? You youngsters are brilliant in solving these new car problems.I can rattle on about the "good old days" forever, but times have changed & I'm back to being a rank amatuer. But I damn sure am still wanting to learn, even if it's from you young bucks !!! so please,re-smart me. westmassk
