I just picked up a wrecked 2010 ss with some front end frame damage. I am going to install a Blown 572ci BB and wondering if anyone on this site has been crazy enough to attempt this. I am not interested in opinions of "If" it should be done. I know the LS3 can produce crazy wicked power but I am wanting to do something very non conventional for a gen 5 and having a 1,000 hp nitrous breathing, 8-71 blower standing 14" out of the hood is my goal. The car has the standard transmission 6 speed. I have read that the current driveline can be used with an upgraded clutch plate as long as you dont drop all the power at once off the line. I am assuming down the road to upgrade to a Tremec TKO and not sure of the rear end options to handle the increased HP. This is going to be a challenge and would like any input from anyone who has attempted this swap. I'm new to the group so thanks for reading.
