2010 Project! Got Mine @ 14,000mi
Hey guys,
New to the forum here but super stoked. Picked up my 2010 V6 Camaro with just a bit north of 14,000MI, for 12K cash. Came with Indy 500 wheels and BFGoodrich Radial Tires. Also thinking there was some internal work done because my 0-60 times are coming in at an average of 6.4-6.6 with no launch (pictured below).
My goal is to turbo/supercharge I'm wondering what the smaller block can handle as far as PSI goes on a twin turbo stock, if anyone knows? Was thinking I should probably get the cams upgraded, a port and polish done, as well as a new exhaust system before going straight for a forced induction though. I'm pretty new to cars but have some experience messing with my 07 Cobalt from years ago when I had it Turbo'd to about 8PSI on the stock block.
Anyways, ultimately this is my project. I want a sleeper / SS / Z28 killer. Not sure I can keep up with the LTZ without some serious work but here's to hoping, right lol? I've seen a few v6's on YouTube getting 700HP to the crank but sounds like a far cry away.
Will post more pics, etc as my project progresses. Have about 5k saved right now but trying to save a good 15k before I jump into this.
Current Parts List:
- VMAX Ported Throttle Body
- American Racing Headers
- SuperCharger
