Winter Sucks
I literally had to idle up a hill the other day, and the tires were still spinning. Sad thing is that till then the hill is so small I had never even noticed it before.
I was at the bottom of my drive yesterday and just for SNG I popped the clutch with no gas and spun out then too.
Good times though, left work late and had a huge iced up parking lot to myself. Well I got to play some Toyko drift and doughnuts. I did tell my bud with me that the funny thing is that I dont need the ice to do all that now. Still nice to have tires left after though.
Okay winter doesnt suck too bad yet. Just waiting to kiss the curb though.

We got hit with 8-10 inches of snow in a day yesterday. Even with my Nokian tires, the Cobalt was having a little bit of trouble. I was and am doing better than anyone else on the roads, but my wheels have gone way, WAY out of balance, and I need to get it fixed, lol.
The Camaro is, of course, safely parked in my dad's garage for the winter.

I go with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R myself- The Talon was invincible last year, when it could stay out of the shop. And the Cobalt's only outdone by big 4x4 trucks. And it uses half the fuel of one of those
I hear ya, we went through last winter with the stockys, and now I am a believer. You gotta have winter tires (in CO anyway). I hadn't used them since I was in Germany, but never had a need till now. But for the price of winters for the Camaro, I might as well just buy a beater for myself.
