let me ask you guys something how long does it takes for the glue to dry so i dont see it anymore got the windows tinted about 3 days ago

 

glue? it should look completely normal after 2 days and you can roll your windows down after 7

 

Do all new Camaros come with factory window tinting on the side & rear windows? I know that Cali doesn't allow window tinting on driver & passenger side whereas Texas, where I live now, does. I couldn't find window tint mentioned anywhere on the window sticker. I'm just curious how this is handled given the laws for window tinting vary among the states.

 

typically theres a film over the window but its not really tint

 

and if you cant really tell if its tinted then cops wont do anything about it. i have 35% on my driver&passenger, which is very noticeable yet they dont do anything about it.
5% on the back btw. and yeah DK visibility sucksss at night out the back lol

 

The tint on my new Camaro is very noticeable (dark). I'm not familiar with tinting percentages so I have no idea what its rating is. It just seems strange that I have relatively dark tinting on the windows and yet there's no mention of it on the window sticker ... hmmm ... maybe I should write down the RPO codes and see if any of them correspond to window tinting. If the dealer put it on they would have bragged about it and charged me for it! So I'm assuming it was done at the factory.

 

Look at the marking on the glass it says transparency 70% minimum, the front glass too. It looks like 70% is the darkest limit in several states so it would be okay everywhere, even though 70% isnt dark in any way shape or form.
