Why did you choose the Camaro?
I owned a 1993 Pontiac Firebird from 2003-2008. I loved that car so much! I moved to Vegas, and my fiance and I found out that we were expecting a baby. So, I went to the dealership and picked up a 4-door 2001 BMW 325i that was a repo. I really liked my BMW but I got sick of it within a year.
On January 26th, 2011, I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my BMW. I went to AutoZone and got the codes from the SES light. It looked like it was going to be an expensive fix.
Before I even tried to find out how to fix it on my own, I found myself looking at Corvettes from 2004 or so and accidentally came across a 2009 Camaro online that I liked. I started doing research and found that I could afford one if I wanted to get one.
That night, I went to a Chevy dealership by my house to look at one that they had listed online. They were closed so I just looked.
The next day, I left work early, went to the same dealership, and left about 4 hours later with a 2011 Camaro LS with 8 miles. Brand new, first owner, first test-driver, only on the lot for 8 days.
I fell in love with the car immediately. A GM sports car just has a different feeling that cannot be replicated by driving a 4 door German car. I love just getting in that car.
I have an OEM spoiler and OEM black racing stripes on the way - I know that everybody does this but I really feel the need to customize the crap out of it, obviously within reason, not like some punk teenager that I used to be when I first bought my Firebird. Everything will stay classy but sporty, and nothing will be done without proper planning and research.
It just feels so damn good, that's why I went with the Camaro over the Mustang. AND, I see about 50 stangs a day, I have yet to see another Camaro since I bought it 5 days ago.

First time I went to the state fair of tx and saw them I was determined to finally get my dream car. I have always wanted a Camaro since I was a tennager. It's always been a Camaro for me. Never would have gotten anything else!!
The designers at GM got it absotively, posolutely right with the Camaro. The lines are beautiful and the looks it gets confirm that. Just looking at it brings a smile to my face. It's a work of automotive art.
Then there's the performance and handling of the 2SS M6. This baby moves out with authority. It carves curves and corners with agility. A really nice growl sets off the whole thing.
I love this car! Can you tell?
