Default V6 upgrades

Hello, I wanted to reach out and ask if it's worth upgrading a 2013 RS Camaro with Cali shirt headers and air intake for more torque, Horsepower and sound IR just getting an SS or ZL1 and avoid the costs for better results.

I'd wait for the 2016 SS and forget about the headers and exhaust UNLESS you really like the 2013 and intend on keeping it for at least 5 more years.

What do you mean by "Cali shirt headers" and where you said "sound IR just getting..." what did you mean?? Were you actually saying "Cali short headers" and "sound OR just getting.." ??

As an recent owner of a 2015 LFX Camaro, I had installed Solo HFC, CAI air box & Magnaflow axle back mufflers in order to get better performance and sound. I only had that car for about 7 weeks before I traded it in on a 2015 1SS car (both were autos) and I spent a lot of money and got "decent" performance gains, but not what I would have gotten from similar to a V8 car.

I currently own a 2013 RS and I've put way too much money into searching into making a V6 sound and perform like an SS or higher. Due to limited income restrictions at the time. V8 is endless as far as beefing up the sound and performance compared to a V6. I'm keeping my RS for the everyday ride and purchasing a V8 SS or a Challenger for my project and weekend ride. Haven't decided yet. Good luck!
