Default Time for new tires

I am thinking of staying with the P-Zeros so I can just replace the rears. I saw some Continentals that have double the tread wear rating, but less traction. Of course I would have to get 4 of them though, but maybe they would last more than 14K miles. Gonna be driving to NC and GA soon so I may just wait till after that since I am not quite to the TWI on the back.

No matter what though new tire day is always great getting the last of the rubber off the old ones.
