are they hard to get everywhere?
Let me start off by introducing myself. Name is William Byrd and I am a huge camaro enthusiast. I just sold my 02 z28 on the assumtion that a 2010 SS would be easy to get but apparently not in south alabama. Ive been to 4 dealerships and all of them want 5 grand above sticker!!! Will it be like this for a while? My camaro that I sold was not my everyday driver so its not like im out of a car but still.. I really want a 2010!! Anybody have any suggestions?!?!?

look out of state or look in a small town (small towns don't usually up-charge because they don't have as much of a driving demand to do it)...but whatever you do you'll most likely just have to order it and wait if you are set on paying msrp...
i would say to come to my dealership where i'm getting mine for msrp but that might be a little too far for you! hahaha (gallup, new mexico)
but one thing you might do is look on youtube and type in 2010 camaro and click on the "newest" link to sort by the newest videos and there are a lot of dealers that have inventories of camaros nationwide and advertise them like that...i don't know what the prices look like on those but there are a lot of listings like that and if you find one close enough you could just fly/take a train one way and drive it back

unfortunately for some dealerships yes....particularly after a car makes a comeback this big with so much appeal
it's the basic rules of supply and demand for some dealerships that can pull it off...hey it sucks on our side but if you were a dealer and you had people willing to pay that much why not right? =/
keep looking though and if not order one! it's not that bad having to wait...the first month is the worst but after that once you see progress in the system with your car it flies by fast...my TPW is already 8/03 so I'm almost there

a friend and I ordered one earlier this month on the 9th i think, for MSRP. Built the car on chev.com, printed everything, and brought it to the dealership to order it. Order was placed on the 9th and the order was received an accepted today...
