Should i upgrade to ss?
I just bought a 2013 1ls and i love it and everything, however i feel the need for more power. My wife only will approve if i get it an automatic because she camt drive stick. Another thing is i commute avtotal of 60 miles a day for work. So my question is, is it worth it to go up, and how much on insurance?
The insurance issue is totally subjective on this one. It all depends on you. Age, marital status, driving record, and where you live will all factor in on that. Your best bet is just call your insurance company and get a quote. Shouldnt take but a couple minutes, wont cost you a dime, and youll have a definite answer instead of someone "best guess." Keep in mind also, that if you just bought the LS, theres a good chance it wont bring a trade value of what you owe on it. Youll either have to pay that off, or roll it into the loan on the already more expensive SS. so while your insurance may not go up to much, theres a chance your monthly cost will increase significantly. Best of luck though!
Haha well i originally just got the ls as to not **** off the wife. But now shes all about wanting the ss. Her parents collect corvettes so i guess they talked sense into her. Basically i just want to know if the ss is worth the value, i can afford it but im just curious. As far as the trade in, chevy has that 60 day gurantee so i wont lose anything on it

you dont think 320 HP is enough? you want to trade a stick for an auto? your going to spend over $35k for a car? You let your wife boss you around about what kind of car you buy? i think your out of your flippin mind but that's just me.
well if thats the case take er back and upgrade.

@romobama, power to weight ratio on the v6 isnt great, stick to auto because i do work in the city and get stuck in traffic everyday the woman just wants to drive the car and she cant learn stick to save her life. My wife and i make decisions together and compromise, im not some irresponsible ahole who goes out and buys toys just for the hell of it.
