Am I just way behind on camaro news or does anyone else not know about this? I will wait for the Z28 if they're really going to make it.

yeah, the new Z has been on again/off again for a while now. I'd prefer to see the Z/28 badge on a lightweight, N/A car, and the CTS-V motor in a higher-end ZL-1, but that's just me. Either way, it looks to be pretty sweet...whenever it actually happens.

I've heard about it but never really took the time to look it up. It'd give people more options than just the SS or RS.

I heard that the the z-28's were going to be built in small numbers and they would start in the $75k range. Anyone else hear anything different? Anything different and they would be competing with potential corvette sales.

I doubt it would be that much, especially since a CTS-V isn't even that much. I'd guess it'd be in the lower $50ks or higher $40ks, so it would be priced competitively with the GT500.

well all I know is a fully loaded 2SS right now is over $42K. So if they have an Z package priced in the mid $50 thats out of my price range. And really for that amount of money, if I had it to spend i would buy a corvette.

sticker on my 2SS with interior trim pkg, special order paint, polished aluminum wheels and rally striping was 37K , no auto tranny or sunroof and I know that's not 5K.... what am I missing?

Fully loaded at one of the local dealers included the sunroof, factory ground effects, and the optional 21 inch black painted rims. I have seen several of these cars new on the lot with aftermarket lowering, and window tinting added by the dealers pushing them to $40k. I have been doing alot looking.
