I have the hurst short throw in my camaro also. I used the factory shifter for the first 3 months. Nothing like the hurst compares! the hard bushings makes every shift sound and feel like old school. Mine is a 2010 when the hurst was not an option. Hence, the hard bushings, chome shaft, and white ball.

Yes the Hurst shifter is great, I'm hoping that I can change the handle to the chrome Hurst handle and white ****.....................................
