Parts for my first car?

Okay, i'm 16 soon to be 17, and I can't even get a third gen. Your telling me your getting a 5th gen? I find that hard to believe unless you have those type of parents that just buy their kids whatever they want. If I were you, I wouldn't get a 5th gen no matter how bad you want it. If you crash it, it will suck.
Anyway, it's up to you.
Now to answer your question...there are air intake kits for sale for the 2010 camaro. Try looking at one of those.
Like I said, i really don't believe you are getting a 2010 camaro. I REALLY WANT ONE TOO. But won't get one probably till it's in it's 6th generation if I even like it at that point.

Post pics as soon as you get it. And sorry for doubting you in this post and the other post i made, it just doesn't seem true. You say "it's only 25k". Well, i mean your 16.How do you afford a $25,000 car? unless your parents are buying it for you. You said that like that's cheap. Sure it could be to some people, but not to a 16 year old. I'm the same age, so I'm with you.

Congrats on the car man. I don't see that as unacheivable. Last year when I was 18 I priced out a 2010 v6, had one on the lot for a low 24k. I could have done it if I sold my 02 for $7000 and put up the money in my savings, then finace the last $2k I would have owed.
I think any modification you do to the car will void the warranty. I haven't been impressed with any of the aftermarket exhausts out for it, in terms of sound, there will be a performance gain. All of them make the Camaro sound exotic/importy, don't like it very much. An air intake and a catback would net you maybe 20 horses or so, not sure how well the 2010 responds to those. I know on my 02 I did have a noticable increase when I put a Magnaflow catback on and a SLP CAI.
