Default Painter stripes

The 2011 Camaro has a stripe package which is a applied decal. Has anyone had the stripes painted and then clear coated? I would like the black stripe in gloss, but have no idea as to painted pricing aftermarket.
Any ideas or suggestions, and pricing.

Thanks

Joe

Should be titled PAINTED STRIPES. I'm not much of a speller.

It all depends on how you do it and who does it. To do it the right way, all the surface areas that have the stripes running across them need to be scuffed and after the stripes are painted, the tape needs to be pulled and the entire piece needs to be re-cleared. Otherwise, you will have a rough edge after you peel your tape. You can do it by just taping off the stripes and scuffing/clearing only that area, but it's not as clean or professional looking.

Thanks for the info. I do not want to do this myself, but want a professional job. Anyone have the stripes painted and at about what cost?

thanks
